Outside In is a new series of isolated improvisations from Outside the Sphere, the collaborative improvising duo of Tony Barba and Michael Brenneis. Five episodes are available now, with a sixth in the works. The sounds emanate from Tenor Saxophone, Drums, and sampler, but are also electronically processed live. We use a technology that allows us to play simultaneously with very little latency, and then recombine the audio and video feeds. Check it out at the links below, and watch for new episodes!
